Across the U.S., utilities have been preparing for a significant increase in electricity demand. According to Grid Strategies, five-year load forecasts have risen nearly five-fold since 2023, reflecting rapid growth in data centers, manufacturing and electrification.

This acceleration points to the essential role of modernized power infrastructure, from generation and transmission to storage and reliability, to meet the needs of a more digital, energy-intensive economy.
